    Course description

    This course provides a comprehensive overview of the construction, design, and operation of the engine and engine systems. Fundamentals of the gas turbine engine theory are also included to support course objectives.

    Course objectives

    Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to…
    •Identify safety precautions related to the engine
    •Identify maintenance practices important to the engine
    •Define the general layout of the engine’s major systems
    •Define the general layout and characteristics of the engine

    Target population

    Managers, supervisors, maintainers, and personnel involved in the operation, servicing or logistical support of the engine.

    Instructor led training in the classroom and laboratory.
